10 years shaping the future of urban and regional development. This year’s focus is on resilience, equity, and environmental responsibility.

Climate change, digital transformation, resource scarcity, and social inequalities are all pose significant challenges to urban areas.
Since its first edition, the Smart and Sustainable Planning for Cities and Regions (SSPCR 2025) conference has been a key platform for promoting sustainable development at the urban and regional level.

The 2025 edition focuses on solutions that promote resilience, equity, and environmental responsibility. The conference is ready to bring together leading researchers, policymakers, to discuss, exchange ideas and bridge the gap between research and action to ensure a smarter, greener, and more liveable future for all.

SSPCR 2025 welcomes contributions from various research fields: urban and regional planning, environmental and social sciences, economics, transportation, engineering and energy-related studies, computer science and geomantic as well as from the professional community.
SSPCR 2025 highlights:
