The Ökoinstitut, founded in Bolzano-Bozen in 1989, is since 2018 a cooperative, part of the South Tyrolean Raiffeisen Cooperatives Federation, whose activity focuses on climate protection, soft tourism, sustainable living and sustainable economy, environmental education, mobility. The Ökoinstitut aims at combining ecology, economics and social issues through the implementation of projects, applied research, awareness-raising measures and by seeking practicable solutions and offering support in the practical implementation of the developed measures in close collaboration with its target group: public institutions and private customers.
