The STARS Alliance presents the interdisciplinary course “Nachhaltigkeit: Herausforderungen und Lösungen / Sostenibilità: sfide e soluzioni / Sustainability: Challenges and Solutions”, part of the Studium Generale program at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
The course, coordinated by the unibz Competence Centre for Sustainability (CCEES), involves the participation of 19 lecturers from all the member institutions of the STARS Alliance. Bringing together contributions from multiple disciplines and research backgrounds, it offers a multifaceted and accessible introduction to sustainability, exploring current challenges and possible solutions across the ecological, economic, and social dimensions, with particular attention to the context of mountain regions.
Part of the autumn series for the academic year 2025/26, the lecture series will take place from 15 October 2025 to 14 January 2026, on Wednesday evenings from 17:00 to 19:00 at the unibz Bozen-Bolzano campus.
The series follows an open lecture format: participation is open to all interested individuals, and no prior registration is required.
