SUMMARY:International Week - Blended Intensive Programme (BIP): Sustainable and Technological Transition in the Automotive Sector
DESCRIPTION:The Program aims to provide students with an introduction to the transition that is taking place in the automotive sector (e.g.\, efficiency\, electrification\, advanced robotics\, digital twin\, simulation\, assistant systems\, and additive manufacturing) with particular focus on the new technologies with an eye to sustainability. Beyond that\, students will get the possibility to meet and cooperate with other students and professors from different countries and universities in an international and multicultural environment.\nThe lectures are targeted to (third year) bachelor and master students\, preferably enrolled in engineering programs like mechanical\, automotive\, mechatronics\, electronics-ICT\, environmental and energy engineering. \nThe week is co-organized by European Universities of the EUCLIDES Network: \n\nUniversity of Antwerp (UAntwerp)\nUniversity of Girona (UdG)\nUniversity of the Basque Country  (UPV/EHU)\nKU Leuven (KUL)\nPolytechnic University Viseu (PUV)\n\nThe event will also feature experts from other European Universities such as Technical University of Kaiserslautern (TUK)\, Polytechnic of Milano (POLIMI)\, and Brno University of Technology (BUT). \nThe Blended Intensive Program will run between March 11th to 15th 2023 in Bolzano (Italy)\, with virtual and online activities and one week of in presence lessons. \nThe teaching format will combine theoretical lessons\, exercises\, labs\, and project works. \nFunded by the Erasmus+ Programm. \n  \nPROGRAM: For the program\, please click on the following link to downolad: \nhttps://www.unibz.it/assets/Events/Pdf/eng-faculty/Sustainable-and-Technological-Transition-in-the-Automotive-Sector.pdf \nREGISTRATION: For registration\, please click on the following link: \nSIGN IN – Sustainable and Technological Transition in the Automotive Sector (ungerboeck.com) \nRegistration deadline: 20.12.2023 \nCONTACT: Prof. Franco Concli\, franco.concli@unibz.it
