DESCRIPTION:This webinar is part of the online-series “Diversity Matters” promoted by the Center for Migration and Societal Change at Eurac Research. \nRegistrazione: https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/3efab7f7-e000-44b9-8d33-5b36331e4ca7@92513267-03e3-401a-80d4-c58ed6674e3b \nSito web dell’evento: Diversity Matters: An interdisciplinary Webinar Series – Eurac Research \n

SUMMARY:From ideas to market‑ready building solutions: benefits for housing
DESCRIPTION:How testing\, pilot lines and living labs support the transition from research to real buildings \nHow do new façade and building‑envelope solutions move from an initial idea to reliable application in real buildings? This question is at the centre of the MEZeroE Final Conference\, which marks the conclusion of five years of work supporting innovation in the building‑envelope sector. The event takes place during REbuild 2026 in Riva del Garda and brings together companies\, designers\, researchers and decision‑makers interested in testing\, validating and scaling new building solutions. \nThe conference is organised over two complementary days: \n\nMonday 12 May (11:30 – 12:15): MEZeroE contributes to the main REbuild conference programme with a panel session “La decarbonizzazione come motore di efficienza per la sostenibilità sociale e ambientale” open to the wider audience\, focusing on how testing\, pilot lines and living labs can support innovation and reduce risk in the construction sector.\nTuesday 13 May (9:00–12:00) | From ideas to market‑ready building solutions: benefits for housing: a dedicated MEZeroE event centred on housing‑related applications. Through concrete examples\, participants will explore how testing infrastructures and real‑world demonstration environments support performance assessment\, design optimisation and informed decision‑making before market deployment.\n\nRegistration (by registering\, you secure a place at the event and receive a ticket granting access to the main REbuild programme events): https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/9G5FRCS \nEvent website: From ideas to market‑ready building solutions: benefits for housing – Eurac Research

SUMMARY:World Climate Game – Together for a Sustainable Future
DESCRIPTION:An interactive climate game where players take on roles in politics\, business\, and civil society to build a sustainable future through strategy\, cooperation\, and negotiation. \n\n\nClimate change impacts our society in many different ways. It is complex\, far-reaching\, and threatening. How can we help people face it with clarity\, confidence\, and a sense of purpose? \nThe World Climate Game is an interactive three-day\, app-supported board game about climate change and sustainability. Based on a scientifically grounded climate and economic simulation\, it shows how different aspects of the climate crisis are connected. \nThe game reflects real-world conditions. Players take on roles in politics\, business\, and civil society\, making decisions about the global economy\, geopolitics\, and social justice. They have a century (10 game rounds) to build an economically\, ecologically\, and socially sustainable order. Along the way\, they face the challenges of our time and work together to develop solutions through strategy\, cooperation\, and negotiation. \nIn collaboration with the student association KIKERO \nT: +39 0471 012 182 – kikero@unibz.it \nSustainability Festival: Instagram \nRegistration: https://eventregistration.unibz.it/Login.asp?IDcommessa=UN26016&Lang=IT

SUMMARY:ReNoN Project Workshop 2026
DESCRIPTION:Powering the future through smarter\, connected energy systems—discover how integrated networks can accelerate Europe’s path to climate neutrality \nThe ReNON Workshop 2026 aims to explore advanced methodologies\, planning strategies and optimization tools supporting the transition towards decarbonized and resilient energy systems. \nAchieving the European carbon neutrality targets by 2050 requires a profound transformation of traditionally independent infrastructures such as electricity grids\, district heating networks\, water systems\, transportation and energy storage. In this context\, the ReNON project introduces the “Network of Networks” paradigm\, promoting the coordinated integration of multi-energy systems and the active involvement of prosumers and energy communities. \nEvent website: ReNoN Project Workshop 2026 / Free University of Bozen-Bolzano
