DESCRIPTION:“Echoed nature” is an interactive exhibition about biodiversity loss and new encounters in South Tyrol. \n“echoed nature” is an interactive exhibition about biodiversity loss and new encounters in South Tyrol. The exhibition invites visitors to explore what has been lost\, what remains\, and what is changing in the regional flora and fauna. \nThe installation is the result of a multidisciplinary collaboration between mischer’traxler studio\, unibz\, and the South Tyrol Museum of Nature\, within the project Embodied Data Lab (EDALAB). EDALAB develops interactive\, embodied experiences based on data\, combining science\, design\, and engineering. SUMMARY:Ecosystem restoration and ecosystem functions recovery under climate change
DESCRIPTION:International experts explore mountain ecosystem restoration and function recovery under climate change\, with practical cases\, management insights\, and collaboration. \nMountain ecosystems such as forests\, rivers\, wetlands and grasslands are under manifold pressure in the Anthropocene. In this conference\, international experts will present and discuss the state-of-the-art and practice examples on the restoration of mountain ecosystems and their functions with a focus e.g. on the impact\, management\, practical issues\, engineering\, conservation and climate change. The conference will shed light on regional to international examples of management\, recovery and restoration of a sustainable functioning of ecosystems.
