DESCRIPTION:Join us at this year’s Upcycling Convention with Inspiring Talks\, Workshops\, Market\, Music\, and Food \nThe Upcycling Convention (UpCon) is back for its fourth edition at REX – Material und Dinge in Bressanone\, inviting the public to a day of talks\, workshops\, markets\, music\, and food. Running from 10 am to 10 pm. This unique event is free and open to everyone\, and combines sustainability\, creativity\, and community engagement to inspire new ways of thinking and acting in our everyday lives. \nFull Program \nIn the morning UpCon hosts Inspiring Talks from Material Mafia\, Superlocal\, Rotobaumarkt\, showcasing best practices in upcycling\, circular economy\, and eco-design. In the afternoon\, visitors can get involved in practical\, walk-in workshops and browse the Upcycling Market featuring makers\, designers\, and craftspeople who give materials a second life. All afternoon and evening there will be Live Music\, Fresh Food & Drinks until 10 pm. \nWelcome Voucher \nDuring the unibz Freshers Days students will be provided free vouchers allowing them to get themselves a few kitchen items (free cups\, plates\, cutlery\, utensils – as long as stock lasts) at this year’s festival. This way we bring reuse into practice\, rethink consumption\, and hope to make the beginning of your student life more affordable and enjoyable. \nCome Together \nBeyond being a public festival\, the UpCon is also a platform for networking. It brings together actors from business\, crafts\, art\, and sustainability\, connecting South Tyrol’s reuse community with international pioneers.
