SUMMARY:Summer school on ‘Monitoring of visitors and their impacts on the environment’
DESCRIPTION:The course program aims to provide qualified training about how to monitor visitors\, wildlife\, soil and vegetation erosion and overall impacts of tourism on the natural environments of protected areas. \nAs a partner of the Interreg Central Europe Humanita project\, we are thrilled to announce the opening of registration for the summer school ‘Monitoring of visitors and their impacts on the environment’\, 4 days of training\, 2 campus days and 2 field days\, addressed to university students\, recent graduates\, rangers\, nature educators\, hiking guides\, nature conservation organizations\, citizen scientists and nature enthusiasts. \nHUMANITA summer school will take place from 14th to 17th July 2025 in Karawanken-Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark and at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Villach\, AT. \nThe course program aims to provide qualified training about how to monitor visitors\, wildlife\, soil and vegetation erosion and overall impacts of tourism on the natural environments of protected areas.
