DESCRIPTION:Extreme weather events and adaptation in the South-Eastern Alps\nWhat do we know about future extreme weather (rain\, drought\, storms)? What were their environmental impacts? How can forecasting improve mountain management and disaster prevention? \nThe initiative plans to pursue a better understanding of weather mechanisms\, their impact on the environment\, the capability of their forecasting and related implications.
